This was the first edition of the Serpent and the Peacock, the Tarot in a Tin (with borders!). I didn't know what I was doing at the time and didn't even know the tarot. I was working on an astrology project called The Mood of the Moon at the time when all of the images that I was looking at started reminding me of cards of the tarot. I thought about it for awhile, and pretty soon it was well why not. Why not try it. I really feel that this deck created itself, it truely wanted to be born.
I did it in a tin because that was the easiest and only ordered 150 decks. When they went pretty quick, I decided to order 1000. Little did I know how hard it would become to sell 1000 decks no matter how cool you thought it was. Three years later, we have about 60 of the 1st edition remaining.
